Happy Birthday Andy and Logan!!
Yep.. it's official. Andy is OLD. He turned 34! Makes me seem so young :o) And Logan turns 3. Where has the time gone?
The boys had fun making Daddy some pictures

(I think Collin ate most of the paint.. thank god for non-toxic)
Do you see the look of determination on his face! Andy and I were so proud of him. He wasn't afraid to rip his presents open! Do you like the choice of wrapping paper??? Give me a break! At least I didn't use duct tape...

It's Been Awhile
Wow.. It's been a VERY interesting summer so far. Here are just some highlights with pictures:
- Collin gets stuck in a chair (Don't ask because I don't know)

-Logan was having a blast LEAPING into Nona's swimming pool... from the DIVING BOARD! (He was CRAZY!)
- Logan visits the ER and gets admitted overnight into CMC. (He fell over the basement steps and fractured the bone above his eye. This was not on our "to do" list on July 2nd.)

Placing My Order
So, if you're anyone to me you know my Mom and Dad came home from Florida yesterday. Even though I am a brilliant chef of many gourmet meals (Mom...stop laughing) I am very much so looking forward to having Mom's Home-Cooked Goodness. I mean come on.. who doesn't love their Mom's food better than their own?
I would like to place my order for the week as follows, giving Mom a "rest" day today (Monday) She's had a long trip you know..
Tuesday: Roast Beef with gravy and home-baked bread
Wednesday: Roasted pork tenderloin on the grill with red potatoes
Thursday: London Broil done medium with butter and onion perogies
Friday: Pork Roast with mashed potatoes, gravy, crescent rolls, and green beans
Saturday: BBQ chicken on the grill
**Subject to change depending on how I am feeling that particular day**

TGIF
This phrase really never meant anything to me while working the restaurant scene (since Friday was ALWAYS the get weeded off your ass night). However, now that I officially have the weekends "off" ,by 12:35 the countdown to 10 year old freedom begins. Don't get me wrong I LOVE my job, but this year's kids are... exhausting. By Friday you're pushing them out the door while their still screaming "But Mrs. Pliska! I don't have my backpack!"
"Never mind the backpack. The bus is leaving and you need to be on it!"
By the way, thank goodness it's FRIDAY

Things that suck...
- Spaghetti in the toaster
- Dogs rolling in a fresh dead woodchuck
- Knowing I have less than 2 years to get a Masters Degree
- Knowing I have no way to pay for the security of keeping my job
- Collin bringing me the empty-but-not-empty-5-minutes-ago bowl from Logan's potty

1...2...3...4...?
Logan does the BEST job at counting to 5! So good in fact, the sleep deprived gitty adults made him "work" for his ice cream by counting to 5 like 8 times. Click here to......... see why.

Jumpin on the bandwagon..
Yeah.. Yeah.. I know what you're all saying, so I'll just say this: I doubt this will last long, so don't get your hopes up. As inspired as I have been by my iNsAnE sisters I have decided to conform to the masses and create a family blog. I will try my best to keep school days to a minimum, however there is no guarantee I will solely stick to my chaotic family. Those kids at school make for some unexpected and interesting times.
And with all that said, I give you the madness that is the Pliska Family.
